Dampness

Represents the unconscious mind or the collective unconscious 'seeping' into consciousness. Dampness can symbolize the fluid, non-rational aspects of the psyche that are not yet formed or articulated.

Often linked to bodily fluids and repressed desires, particularly of a sexual nature. Dampness may symbolize arousal, incontinence, or a regression to an infantile state.

The dreamer IS the dampness. It asks: 'What part of me feels saturated, heavy, or stuck? What emotion am I not allowing to dry or evaporate?'
