Ritual Practice

Clear a small table or shelf. Place a candle (fire), a small bowl of salt (earth), a cup of water, and an open, empty notebook (air/spirit) in a circle. Light the candle. For five minutes, write or draw in the notebook any 'base' thought (a fear, a wish). Then, sprinkle a pinch of salt into the water, symbolizing the dissolution of that thought into a new possibility. Blow out the candle.
