In its wake, one does not simply have a new idea. One is new. A lifelong conflict between career and vocation may suddenly be seen as two expressions of the same underlying drive. A chronic pattern of failed relationships may be understood in a single, compassionate glimpse as a childhood adaptation. The opposites aren’t reconciled through compromise; they are seen through. Their apparent duality is revealed as an illusion of perspective.

The myth assures us that these moments of shattering clarity, though often born of despair and confusion, are not random accidents. They are the signature of the psyche’s innate movement toward wholeness. We are all vessels of darkness, incubating our own spark.
