Making dream tea with Calea Zacatechichi isn’t too hard. People have been preparing the tea in Mexico for many years. I’ve been living in Southern Mexico for the last few months. This is the same place where drinking dream tea originated hundreds if not thousands of years ago with the Aztecs. If you never tried Calea before and you want to be safe. Place a small amount in your mouth between your cheek and teeth and let it sit for 20 minutes spitting any saliva and not swallowing. Then wait an hour to be on the safe side and make sure you aren’t allergic to it.

It is used to remember your dreams more clearly and increase your chance of lucid dreaming.

Many people complain about the taste. I actually think it tastes good and I like drinking Calea Z tea before bed. I do like to add honey though. But for me that is the case for any tea.

I use the recipe of

5 grams Calea Zacatechichi
2 cups Water
Honey to taste

Heat the water to simmering and add the dream herb. If you want to be specific I think 170F is best but putting your stove on simmer (low) should do it. Leave uncovered and steep for 20-30 minutes. Don’t allow it to boil or it will taste worse. Add honey to taste and enjoy. I generally drink it about 30 minutes before bed.
